Egypt is set to join the global music stage with the launch of Grammy House – Giza in October 2026, announced in Cairo by Kanazawa Yukio, CEO of Japan’s Titan Capital.

The event is a collaboration with the Recording Academy, the organizers of the Grammy Awards.

During a press conference, Yukio described Egypt as his second home and said his personal connection inspired him to bring a major international music event to Cairo.

He added that the initiative is part of a broader plan to attract foreign investment and expand Titan Capital’s presence in the real estate and entertainment sectors.

“The Egyptian market offers real opportunities for investors thanks to the country’s significant development progress,” Yukio said. “Entertainment is a key element that enhances the value of any real estate project.”

According to the Recording Academy, Giza will host the first Grammy House outside the US, following previous editions in Los Angeles and New York.

The multi-day event will bring together top artists, producers, songwriters, and music professionals from around the world, featuring live performances, workshops, and cultural exchanges.

Yukio recalled last October’s launch event at the Pyramids, which unveiled the partnership with the academy.

The event, inspired by the Eye of Horus, blended Egypt’s cultural heritage with global music and included performances by composer Omar Khairat and singer Carole Samaha.

When asked about his favourite artists, Yukio said he admires Omar Khairat locally and internationally favours Andrea Bocelli.

“Egypt deserves a world-class event of this magnitude. Invitations to major international stars are already underway, and the festival will place Egypt at the heart of the global music scene,” he concluded.
