Scott, who shot to international fame after his acclaimed appearance on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) in 2015 and whose soaring ballads, such as You Are the Reason and Dancing On My Own, have garnered billions of streams worldwide, will headline the museum’s concert series in what marks his first major performance in Egypt.

After his BGT success, he released multiple albums, including Only Human (2018) and Bridges (2022), featuring hit singles such as You Are the Reason and collaborations with artists like Lost Frequencies and Christina Perri.

In October 2025, Scott released his third studio album, Avenoir.

Following his performance in Cairo, Scott will promote his newest album with tours across South Africa, India, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, before performing across North America (Canada, USA) until late May 2026. He will then return to Europe with a series of concerts continuing until June.

In addition to his commercial success, Scott is recognized for his openness about his personal journey. His live performances are celebrated for their intimacy and emotional resonance, often blending raw vulnerability with polished production.

Scott has toured extensively across Europe, North America, and Asia, captivating audiences with his signature ballads and dynamic stage presence. His upcoming performance at Cairo’s Grand Egyptian Museum marks his first major concert in Egypt.

Since its grand opening on 1 November, the GEM has rapidly emerged not only as a monumental repository of ancient Egyptian artifacts but also as a vibrant venue for contemporary cultural programming.

Since the launch of the GEM Nights series in late 2025, the museum has hosted a growing lineup of world‑renowned performers, including celebrated cellist Hauser and R&B artist Brian McKnight.

Even prior to its official inauguration, the GEM gave its stage to artists: from Fatma Said and Omar Khairat (2023) to an Um Kolthoum tribute featuring Reham Abdel-Hakim and Mai Farouk (Feb 2025). Fatma Said will return to GEM's stage in February.
