Released on Tuesday, the song blends modern Egyptian pop with shaabi (popular street music) influences and the energy of football chants.

Come Here, And I'll Tell You was released on the eve of the clash between Egypt and Australia in the knockout stage of 32 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America on Friday.

In their fourth appearance in the World Cup, the Pharaohs won their first World Cup game against New Zealand and advanced past the group stage for the first time.

In the song, Abu extols the national team's players one by one, transforming the squad list into a celebratory chorus reminiscent of the atmosphere in football terraces.

Ta'ala Wana A'ollak was written by Abu, Shady Hassan, and Hassan Mohamed, composed by Shady Hassan, and arranged by Sika.

The shaabi-inspired approach marks a departure from Abu's signature style.

Since breaking through with the 2017 hit 3 Daqat (Three Beats) - his duet with actress and singer Yousra that became one of the Arab world's biggest pop songs - Abu has built his career on accessible, feel-good pop infused with contemporary production and Middle Eastern melodic sensibilities.

His repertoire includes hits such as Hekayetna, Bebot W Ahawel, Maly Ya Lail, and Ana Ya Da, songs characterized by warm acoustic textures, light electronic production, and emotionally direct songwriting.
