Hosted at the open-air Tiatro Romano venue in Marassi, Sidi Abdel Rahman, the festival unfolds over five consecutive weekends from 10 July to 14 August, offering audiences a varied musical programme that spans generations and genres.
The festival opens on 10 July with a special 90's Night, celebrating one of the most influential decades in Egyptian pop music.
The concert reunites four of the era's defining stars: Mohamed Fouad, Hamid El Shaeri, Hisham Abbas, and Hossam Hosny. The evening will revisit many of the songs that shaped the soundtrack of the 1990s.
A week later, on 17 July, Syrian singer Al-Shami joins Lebanese artist Mohamed Fadl Shaker in a concert that brings together two of the region's leading contemporary voices, blending modern Arabic pop with romantic ballads.
Egyptian singer-songwriter Tamer Ashour takes the stage on 24 July. Widely regarded as one of the Arab world's foremost contemporary hitmakers, Ashour is expected to perform selections from his extensive catalogue of chart-topping songs.
The programme shifts toward popular shaabi music on 31 July with a concert featuring Reda El Bahrawy, Rahma Mohsen, and Shiba. The three performers are known for their energetic stage presence and wide appeal.
The festival concludes on 14 August with Lebanese stars Nawal Al-Zoghby and Wael Jassar, whose concert promises an evening of Arabic pop classics and romantic repertoire, bringing the summer series to a close.
By combining nostalgic reunions, contemporary pop, and shaabi performances, the festival aims to cater to the diverse audiences that flock to Egypt's North Coast during the summer season, reinforcing Tiatro Romano's position as one of the area's principal live entertainment venues.
