Named after the Beatles' song, Glass Onion is one of Egypt's leading tribute bands, performing classic rock hits from the 1960s and 1970s.
Their repertoire celebrates legendary acts including The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen and Led Zeppelin.
Nesma Mahgoub
Saturday 1 August
Singer-songwriter Nesma Mahgoub rose to prominence after winning Star Academy Arabia in 2011.
Blending Arabic and Western influences, she is known for her versatile vocals and original music alongside reinterpretations of well-known songs.
Nouran Aboutaleb and Ahmed El Haggar
Sunday 2 August
Vocalists Nouran Aboutaleb and Ahmed El Haggar come together for an evening featuring Arabic favourites and contemporary songs.
Both performers are recognised for their appearances at the Cairo Opera House and other cultural venues.
Wael El Fashny

Neveen Allouba and Friends

Soprano Neveen Allouba joins fellow musicians for a programme spanning opera, musical theatre and international classics.
One of Egypt's most prominent classical vocalists, she has performed on stages across the Middle East and Europe.

National Theatre Festival – theatre

The 19th National Theatre Festival runs under the slogan In All of Egypt, presenting productions by state, independent, university and private theatre companies.
Alongside performances at venues including Al-Salam Theatre, Al-Ghad Theatre, Al-Taliaa Theatre, Miami Theatre, Hanager Arts Centre and the Academy of Arts, the festival also features workshops, seminars and masterclasses in Cairo and Mansoura.

Lebanese DJs Tony Helou and Raouf Stephan bring a set spanning deep house, progressive house and groovy downtempo beats.

Presented as the outcome of the Safe Space workshop, 1 + 1 = ? is an immersive site-specific performance exploring the meaning of safety through a series of interactive scenes. Staged inside an apartment rather than a traditional theatre, the audience moves through the space as part of the experience.
