The project features collaborations with some of the Arab music industry's leading lyricists, composers and producers.
The title track, De Rouhy (It's My Soul), was written by Tamer Hussein, composed by Aziz El-Shafie, arranged by Sherif Makawy, and mixed and mastered by Amir Mahrous.
The second song, Bo'dak Wagaa (Your Distance Hurts), features lyrics by Aleem, music by Ehab Abdel Wahed, and a musical vision by Angham.
The third track, Mohaserni (Surrounding Me), was written and composed by Aziz El Shafie, with arrangement by Sherif Makawy and mixing and mastering by Khaled Sanad.
The fourth song, Mosafera Baeed (Travelling Far Away), features lyrics by Mahmoud Essam Hamza, music by Aziz El Shafie, arrangement by Tarek Madkour, and mixing and mastering by Khaled Sanad.
The four-track release marks Angham's latest project and continues her exploration of contemporary Arabic pop rooted in emotionally driven ballads.
While each song features a different lyrical perspective, the EP is unified by polished production and a focus on expressive vocal performances, elements that have defined Angham's career for more than three decades.
Angham
Angham was born in 1972 into a family of artists. Her father, Mohamed Ali Soliman, was a composer, violinist, and singer, while her mother was the renowned artist Magda Abdel-Haleem.
She began her career alongside her father in the late 1980s before graduating from the Cairo Conservatory and pursuing an independent career.
Angham has released over 25 albums, including Fil Rokn El Baeed El Hady (In The Far Distant Corner, 1987), Awal Gawab (First Letter, 1988), Shokran (Thank You, 1989), Shayfak (I See You, 1992), Betheb Meen (Who Do You Love?, 1997), Bahibbik Wahashteeny (Loving You, I Miss You, 2005), Mahaddesh Yehasebni (Do not Judge Me, 2010), Ahlam Bareaa (Innocent Dreams, 2015), Rah Tezkerny (You Will Remember Me, 2018), Hala Khassa Geddan (Very Special Case, 2019), and Mazh (What?, 2020).
The star performs extensively in Egypt and across the Arab world.
In September 2025, Angham gave a concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall, becoming the first Egyptian female artist to perform at the prestigious venue. Her appearance came 58 years after the legendary Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez performed there in 1967 and received one of the greatest ovations of his career.
