About Lovers, a musical by independent theatre director Hany Afifi -- who recently presented I am Now Dead at the Falaki Theatre -- will be performed on every evening of the first week of Ramadan, from 1-7 July.

The performance, previously shown in November 2013, is based on The Ring of the Dove, the renowned treatise on love by Andalusian writer Ibn Hazm.

The House of Arab Oud will perform the selections of Umm Kulthoum music featuring in About Lovers.
