Together with her troupe, Nadia Muzyka will perform a show titled "Ballet Tango, Buenos Aires" in Cairo and Alexandria.
The performance is based on the music and arrangements by Astor Piazzolla.
Muzyka will be joined by Federico Fernandez, Edgardo Trabalón, Macarena Gimenez, Daiana Ruiz, Magdalena Cortés and Julián Galván, who is also the performance's choreographer. Each of the dancers represents one colour, Muzyka being red, alongside gold, pink, green, violet, burgudy as well as what she calls a "heavenly colour."
The performance will be a collage of colours and passions, embedded in music danced by the Argentinean masters.
A graduate of the Higher Institute of Art Teatro Colón, today Muzyka is a widely acclaimed artist in Argentina who has worked with renowned choreographers and ballet masters, leaving many memorable footprints internationally in her tours that took her through five continents and the most prestigious theatres.
Her classical repertoire includes main roles in well known ballets such as Giselle, Don Quixote, Margarita and Armando, Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, Paquita and Swan Lake, among others. Most recently, in May 2015 Muzyka was invited as principal guest dancer by the Greek National Opera Ballet in Athens, where she premiered the ballet Cinderella.
Constantly reinventing herself, Muzyka often combines classical ballet, modern dance and tango, and was nominated twice, in 2008 and 2009, for the "Dance Revelation Award."
