Qatf El-Kaserat is a silent theatre show written and directed by Ereiny Samir. It will be performed by the YouSpeak troop at the Helipolis Library theatre on Friday 29 July.

The play discusses an important societal issue: the marriage of underage girls, and does so without any dialogue. The story is told through the unconventional methods of mime and pantomime, relying on music and body language to convey the characters' emotions.

Music was composed by Baligh Hamdy and Yasser Abdel Rahman as well as singer Dina El Wedidi.

Programme:
Friday 29 July, 8pm
Heliopolis Library theatre, 42 Orouba Street, Heliopolis, Cairo
