‘Rituals for Signs and Transformations’ by Syrian playwright Saad Allah Wanoos will be performed at the Gerhart Theatre at AUC’s New Campus from Monday, 23 October until 1 November.
The play, written in 1994, examines society in different ways, exploring the uses of power in the political, religious and social realms. By following the stories of several characters in extraordinary circumstances, the play also explores signs and transformations of the human mind.

Tickets will be available from Sunday, 16 October, at the box office at AUC in New Cairo and at AUC’s Press Bookstore, AUC Tahrir Square.
Performances will be held on 24, 25, 26, 27, 31 October and 1 November, starting at 7pm; a performance on 29 October will begin at 5pm.
