Labelled the "revolutionary artists" in Syria, the Malas Twins will perform their famous stage act at the Rawabet Theatre in downtowm Cairo tonight, Tuesday 27 December.
The Syrian twins, Ahmed and Mohamed Malas, have been performing together in Damascus for ten years. They have toured France, Russia and Lebanon putting on their revolutionary stage performances. Over the years, fans have constantly described their work as stirring controversy, especially when it comes to their play 'Tomorrow's Revolution Postponed to Yesterday,' which will be presented for the first time in Cairo. The play centres on a dialogue between a police officer and a protestor.
The performance is on for one night only.
