Revolutionising art and culture entrepreneurship at Darb 1718

Four successful entrepreneurs in the arts field will have a panel discussion on revolutionising the arts and culture scene in Egypt

A panel discussion will be held on 28 January at Darb 1718 to discuss the possibilities of expanding and revolutionising entrepreneurship in the arts and culture field.

Panelists in the discussion are successful entrepreneurs in different arts fields, and include  Syrian film analyst Alaa Karkouti, the founder of MAD Solutions, a marketing company for the film and entertainment industry, Mohammed Shenawy, one of the founding members of TokTok comic magazine, Shady Sherif, the managing director of Core Publications, which publishes popular magazines such as E7na and Campus, and the film producer Mohamed Hefzy, founder and director of the production company Film Clinic.

The event will start at 4pm, and in addition to the panel discussion will include a brainstorming session for participants to add their own ideas.

Darb 1718 Contemporary Art and Culture Centre is located in Qasr Al-Shamee Street, behind the Hanging Church and Amr Mosque, Old Cairo.
