Cairo Opera postpones Prophet Mohammed birthday celebrations

Cairo Opera House announced postponing of celebrations of Moulid Al Nabi that were planned on Sunday 5 February

As a continuation of mourning and in respect to victims of Egypt's football disaster and their families, Cairo Opera House decided to postpone celebrations of the Prophet Mohammed's birthday that were planned on Sunday 5 February at 8pm.

Audience will be advanced about the new scheduled date fot the celebrations soon.

Moulid Al Nabi is a celebration of Prophet's Mohammad's birthday, that is fixed at the 12th day of the month of Rabi al-Awwal in the Muslim calendar. According to the Gregorian calendar, this year Moulid Al Nabi's date falls on Saturday 4 February.
