The Lebanon-based Al Mawred Al Thaqafy (Culture Resource), in partnership with the British Council, announced the launch of the Mudawanat podcast, an archive of contributions that document the contemporary culture scene in the Arab region.
The first series of Muwadanat is titled “Myths” and it consists of eight episodes that will be published weekly.
The episodes will be covering different topics related to cultural production in the Arab world.
"These episodes were produced by contributors with mentorship by Mudawanat and Sowt teams," the Culture Resource's press release states.
Mudawanat podcast will also consist of an “Alternatives” series which is "the outcome of the Mudawanat pilot project authored by contributors from Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Algeria, Egypt and Palestine who took part in a training workshop in Tunisia in January 2020," the press release adds.
