TransDance 2012
TransDance festival

Returning for a fifth year, TransDance 2012, now the only international contemporary dance festival held in Egypt, will provide a vibrant programme for Cairo's dance enthusiasts this October.

Directed by Adham Hafez, this edition of TransDance has a defiant and contemporary theme; it presents human bodies as documentations of history. The festival's management is adamant on redefining contemporary dance within the Egyptian performing arts scene.

The line-up features a blend of performances, video and audio installations, film screenings, lectures, and more. Check out the programme below for more details.

Admission is free to all festival activities and events.
