Popular Egyptian rock band Cairokee will give a concert at Al-Manara Arena on Thursday 12 August where they will sing a selection of their favourite repertoire.
Founded in 2003, their first big success came in the post-25 January 2011 Revolution with their hit single ‘Sowt El-Horreya’ (‘The Voice of Freedom’).
They then cemented their popularity with a number of albums including ‘El-Sekka Shemal’ (‘An Indecent Path’), ‘Naas Wi Naas’ (‘People and People’) and ‘No'ta Beida’ (‘Drop of White’), in addition to their latest ‘Abna'a Al-Battah Al-Sawda'a’ (‘The Ugly Ducklings’).
The band is among the most popular music performers in Egypt.
