Khairat has hundreds of compositions in his repertoire. He has composed musical scores for numerous films and television series, including ‘The Sixth Day’ (1984), ‘The Terrorist’ (1993), ‘Mafia’ (2002), ‘Girl’s Love’ (2003), ‘The Embassy is in the Building’ (2005), and ‘Deer’s Blood’ (2006).

Accompanied by an orchestra, Khairat is a frequent performer across many stages in Egypt and the region. He also holds regular concerts at the Cairo Opera House that attract large audiences with tickets sold days prior to the event.

Most recently, Khairat performed at the opera during the 30th Arab Music Festival, which took place in November.
