Singing and playing the keyboards, El-Haggar will be accompanied by Ahmed Kamary on qanun, Sika on bass, and Azeema on drums and percussions.
El-Haggar will be performing some of the most well-known songs from his first album that was released in May 2020 like ‘El-Seif’, ‘El-Serr’, ‘El-Bassa’, ‘El-Leil’, and ‘El-Ahwa.’
The artist recently released a cover of Mohamed Adaweya’s ‘Hekayet Rouh’ with Doaa El-Sebaii and previously released successful covers for Simone’s ‘Mesh Nazra Webtesama’, Mohamed Roshdy’s ‘Tayer Ya Hawa’, and Nagat’s ‘Bahlam Ma’ak’ with Nouran AbuTaleb.
With his deep knowledge of traditional Arabic classics, the Berklee College of Music graduate son of renowned singer Ali El-Haggar is focusing on fusing traditional music with Jazz and neo-soul flavours.
As well as being featured by his father, El-Haggar has previously performed with known musicians such as Carole King, Jason Mraz, and Melissa Etheridge.
