The concert is part of the Goethe Institut’s Shubbak El-Fan Programme, which aims to create a platform for artists from all walks of life to present their work to the institute’s audience. The events will be followed by an interview conducted by TenTV with the artists.
In the event, Michael Onsy’s Mood of Oud Project includes Feras Nouh on keyboard, Cherif Ramez on bass guitar, and Hany Bedair on percussions.
Michael Onsy is an Egyptian Oud player graduate of the Arabic Oud House in Cairo. He participated in many musical projects in several venues all over Egypt and abroad.
According to the information provided by the musician, Mood of Oud is a project he launched in 2019 under the theme of “music that illustrates situations, human feelings, and states of mind.”
The project consists of original compositions expressing different topics, such as human choices, support for women, God’s protection, persistence, and life.
