The festival, which is taking place at the open-air arena between 5 and 10 August, is returning after three years of absence.
The renowned singer is expected to perform his latest releases like El-Nesyan, Ahlan Beek and Atshan, as well as other originals from his 2017 album Habayeb Zaman, in addition to other covers of classic Arabic songs
Before releasing dozens of original songs, the 35-year-old singer, composer and actor originally gained fame by singing covers of many romantic and traditional patriotic Egyptian songs, including those by Sayed Darwisch, Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, Sheikh Imam and other legendary composers.
The festival’s performances also include; Medhat Saleh (Friday 5 August), Nai Barghouti (Saturday 6 August), Dina El-Wedidi (Monday 8 August), Tarek El-Arabi Tarkan (Tuesday 9 August) and concluding with Massar Egbari (Wednesday 10 August).
