Egyptian composer and oud player Georges Kazazian is performing at El Sawy Culturewheel in Zamalek on Tuesday 26 March.
The 66-year-old musician, who is of Armenian origins, has written numerous soundtracks and other compositions. He performs regularly in Egypt and abroad.
His feature films soundtracks include a collaboration with director Ali Badrakhan for Hunger (1985) and with Kamal El Sheikh for Kaher El Zaman (1986), as well as Wife of an Important Man, directed by Mohamed Khan (1988), alongside many documentaries.
His albums include Sabil (1991), Sagate (1997), Sajaya (1997), Nil Sangit (1999), Sawt Al Ganub (1999), Monaga (2001), Azraq (2002), Dayra Jazz (2002), Neel Dhun (2008) and Zafir (2008).
