Cairo’s arthouse cinema project Zawya is gearing up for the third edition of their Cairo Cinema Days, which starts next week and takes place at their Karim Cinema and at Zamalek Cinema.
Thirty-three films from various Arab countries, will be screened, including 11 fiction films, 10 documentary films, and four shorts, alongside classics and retrospectives.
It will take place from 10 to 16 April.
The festival, which started in 2017, is “dedicated to showcasing contemporary award-winning and critically-acclaimed films from the Arab region.”
