Moulid Al-Nabi

The Muslim world celebrates Moulid Al-Nabi, the birth of Prophet Mohamed, on Thursday. In Egypt, celebration includes Halawet Al-Moulid which fills sweet shops and bakeries with colourful displays of sugar-made horses and dolls for the younger generation.
