The Complex of Arts
“The Egyptian Art in the Twenties of the Last Century,” a group exhibition of masterpieces by legendary Egyptian artists such as Mahmoud Mokhtar, Mahmoud Said, Ragheb Ayyad, Youssef Kamel, George Sabbagh, Mohamed Hassan, Emmy Nemr, Suzanne Adly, Shaaban Zaki and others. The show includes a selection of their most important artworks nearly 90 by twenty artists whose works shaped the features of that important period of the history of Egyptian art

A group exhibition of paintings produced by the fourteenth Luxor International Painting Forum, which is organized by the Cultural Development Fund Sector, in cooperation with Luxor governorate. The exhibition showcases 46 paintings produced in the forum's last session, which was concluded on 19 December 2021. Participating artists among many others are: Milka Vojevic (Serbia), Vasilis Galanis (Greece), Miguel Pomer (Colombia), Sobeih Kalash (Iraq), Awad Abu Salah (Sudan), Kamal Abu Halawa (Jordan), together with Ahmed Sonbol, Hossam Saqr, Doaa Hatem, Rania Fouad, Fares Ahmed, Karim Helmy, Maher Gerguis, Mohamed Banawi, and Mohamed Orabi from Egypt (17 July - 31 August).

“Retrieving Absence” exhibition brings together the latest articulations of three ongoing artistic projects by artists Nadia Mounier, Hagar Ezz Eldin, and Rawya Sadek. Through biographies, household materials, and family albums, the artists evoke the women they associate with through their biographies, photographs, and the handcrafted furniture of their homes. The exhibition is accompanied by a series of events in collaboration with the artists (closing 30 July, open daily from Saturday to Thursday from 12-9pm).
