The Photographic Gallery
The Photographic Gallery organizes an exhibition of the best in visual journalism for 2022 as part of the 16th edition of Egypt’s Press Photo annual competition.  Egypt Press Photo is a renowned annual competition of national photojournalism organized by the Syndicate of Journalists and run by the Photojournalists Collective. The exhibition showcases 40 of the best-winning projects of contemporary photojournalism produced by 35 local Egyptian photojournalists (16 February-23 March).

“My Favorite Things 7” is an inclusive annual group exhibition promoting and supporting up and coming women artists in Egypt. Its main aim is to guarantee for women to have a permanent and safe space, for exposure and free expression, maintaining a high artistic quality based on originality and innovative thought. This year’s selection includes around 20 female artists, most of them participating for the first time. Their contributions give the viewer a refreshing idea about what is contemporary art now in Egypt (closing 20 February).

National Museum of Egyptian Civilization  Virtual exhibition “Experiencing Heritage – A Digital Bridge between Egypt and Italy”, an immersive experience on Italian and Egyptian cultural heritage, combining three different digitization models (360° digitization - 2D digital animation - 3D interactive virtual reality), aiming to enhance and promote the importance of Italy’s cultural heritage, through an unprecedented virtual journey that allows viewers to visit some of the most prestigious cultural sites in Italy and Egypt (14 - 27 February).
