“Jaleesa Van Beek 0112223” exhibition showcasing the work of artist and designer Ja.lizah, the exhibition chronicles the Dutch-Jamaican artist’s self-reinvention journey with her wearable artifacts on display alongside her sound-and-film dreamscapes.
Taking visual inspiration from both Egypt and South Africa, the artefacts are a culmination of Jalizah’s personal journey over the last few years which has brought her to both countries. The exhibition will be open to visitors every day from 2pm to 9pm

“Something Else III” is an exceptional artistic celebration, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Egypt Tourism Authority, where the vast historic Saladin Citadel is decorated for the first time for a whole month to display the latest contemporary works of art, including drawing, photography, sculpture, by more than 150 local and international artists, where history meets modernity in one place. The third edition entitled “What Then?” is envisioned by Darb 1718, and Citadel Asset Management Company and also offers art performances, films, music, diverse workshops, street art, talks and lectures by local as well as international artists and art connoisseurs taking place in many different art and cultural spaces in Cairo. The event aims to attract international attention to Egypt as a vibrant art producer within the regional and international art scene. Curators will be led by Simon Njami. The exhibits will include the sustainability and the climate crisis as thematic areas to explore

“The Diversity of Wildlife in Ibero-America” photographic exhibition is held on the occasion of the third Ibero-American Week in Alexandria. This exhibition aims to promote cultural exchange and cooperation between the Alexandrian public and the Ibero-American countries. This year, 13 Ibero-American countries participate in the exhibition: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Spain, and Uruguay (19-29 November).
