“The Encounter of Two Civilizations” exhibition of photography, by Professor of Interior Architecture and Former Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Minya University Samy Nada, presents creative and impressionistic visions through Egyptian eyes for the works of the Italian Renaissance artists. The great creations which combined aesthetic symbols and vocabulary that distinguished the architectural heritage of both Egyptian and Ancient Roman civilizations in a unique, wonderful and unprecedented artistic combination. It also includes a photographic field documentation supporting the results of the research study, focusing on the architecture of the famous “Piazze” of the city of Rome (17-31 January).

Architectural complex of the Mevlevi Dervish “Samaa Khana, Restorations and Restorers” permanent exhibition of the activities of the working/formation sites for the restoration and recovery of the monuments. Visitors are welcomed during the opening hours determined by the Ministry of Antiquities.

“Armenian Dreams” exhibition features four accomplished artists: Armen Vahramian, Abraham Saakian, Romeo Avagyan, and Alek Alekyan. With exhibition highlight, Armenian pioneers who lived in Egypt: Bogos Tatikian, Oskan Chimchidian, John Papasian and Rose Papasian. The exhibition spans various genres such as abstract and still life. Despite the diversity, a common thread weaves through the paintings, evoking a dream-like atmosphere that captivates and soothes the audience (20 January- 8 February).

“Woven Whirls” exhibition by Sabah Naim, who discovers a profound connection between the principles of Sufi movements and her weaving techniques. The intricate process of textile manufacturing inherently involves the interweaving of diverse threads and colours to create a unified form. The rhythmic movements of the body during the act of weaving mirror the fluid motions of Sufi whirling. Through this intersection, she finds a spiritual resonance, where the art of weaving becomes a meditative and transformative journey, much like the Sufi path of inner exploration and enlightenment (14 January-21 February).
