Fri 10,10am-Sat 11, 5.30pm: “E7na Initiative Summit: Our Roles in Society in Relation to Sexual Harassment”, E7na is an initiative aiming to spread awareness about sexual harassment by providing the community with various educational programs and events.
The initiative’s second summit titled “Our Roles in Society in relation to Sexual Harassment” will discuss the reasons behind accepting harassment as a norm in society, the positive and negative impact of media on the crisis of harassment, how to establish boundaries, how to use social media to create impact for the cause and many other essential topics. E7na Summit's primary goal is to offer an inclusive platform for experts and professionals in the field to amplify their work, meet, network and offer support through their services to sexual harassment survivors.

Mon 13, 2pm-5pm: “Egypt Resuming Growth: Opportunities and Barriers” is the fourth edition of Business Forward’s, the knowledge portal of AUC School of Business, annual event. The event will take stock of the year’s economic performance, look at how the country’s private sector can drive its recovery. The event will be hosted physically at Ewart Hall, AUC Tahrir Campus, as well as virtually. Join insightful sessions with experts and thought leaders from the private sector, international organizations. Tues 14, 6-7.15pm (GMT+2): The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) will hold the Tahrir Dialogue event no.97 Online Webinar to discuss the recently published book Master of the Game: Henry Kissinger and the Art of Middle East Diplomacy compiled by Martin Indyk.
Indyk’s book is a perceptive, provocative history of Henry Kissinger’s diplomatic negotiations in the Middle East that illuminates the unique challenges and barriers Kissinger and his successors have faced in their attempts to broker peace between Israel and its Arab neighbours, and what lessons we might draw for the future. Fri 10, 5-7pm (Free entry): Comix writer Winoc is the author of the book Sur les pas de Mariette (In the footsteps of Mariette). The only French-language comic strip dedicated to this historical figure, born in Boulogne-Sur-Mer, it retraces, in first person, the life of French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette (1821-1881), at the dawn of writing Mariette’s screenplay. Winoc will present some of the boards from his album on this occasion.

Italian Cultural Institute 

Italy has been celebrating the 700th anniversary of the passing of Dante Alighieri. Also, the Italian Institute continues to post videos in Arabic with translations from Dante Alighieri’s masterpiece The Divine Comedy to bring the Arab-speaking public closer to the work of the supreme poet. Videos are directed by Giabluca Barbadori, with the special participation of Ashraf Farouk, Amir Salaheddin, Sherine Hegazy, and Sara El-Mokadem.
