Tues 5, 6pm: “Interstellar Encounter” let’s explore the beginning of the universe together on a journey from the South Pole to the depths of deep space!
We are led by Ahmed Suleiman to share with us his own scientific experience as an astronomy researcher at Caltech University and the first Egyptian Arab to travel to the South Pole on a research mission. Suleiman holds a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra, Department of Electricity, and studied a master’s degree at Ain Shams University, focusing on electromagnetic waves. In his Ph.D. studies, Suleiman worked on electromagnetic waves in order to try to facilitate the reception of signals coming to Earth from space and study them to try to understand the universe through them.
