Mon 23, 9am – Tues 24, 6pm: “The NileTESOL 27th Annual Conference 2023” is held, by the School of Continuing Education, in New Era in Teaching and Learning: Challenges and Opportunities. Since much online information is now available to students, teachers have become facilitators of learning. Therefore, today more than ever, educators need innovative strategies and instructional materials that can be integrated with the available technological tools to enhance their teaching and empower themselves and their students to embrace current and future challenges. This year’s conference has various interest areas, such as teacher training, teacher and student motivation, professional development, programme administration, learning technologies, collaborative learning, corpus studies, research development, and assessment, to list but a few. The BA’s Arts School Midyear Programme will begin from Saturday 21 January to Thursday 9 February at the Arts School Premises, Villa Roushdy. Registration is through the website: www.bibalex.org/artsschool
-The BA offers, through the Information Awareness Unit for beneficiaries in the library sector, information awareness lectures for the month of January. All lectures are in the main library, Research Skills Development Center, on the lower third floor (B3).
Thurs 19, 1-2.30pm: A lecture on the electronic education services at BA.
Mon 23, 1-2.30pm: A lecture on the electronic resources.  
Tues 24, 1-2.30pm: A lecture on the bibliographic preparation and reference citation.
