It will also discuss the role of international and regional institutions in supporting open science efforts and everyone’s right to access knowledge. Keynote speakers at the seminar are; Prof. Abdel-Aziz Qansouh; President of Alexandria University and former governor of Alexandria Governorate, Prof. Mahmoud Saqr; President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Prof. Amr Adel Adly; President of the Egyptian-Japanese University for Science and Technology (E-JUST), and Dr. Nizar Hassan; Senior Adviser for Science and Technology for Arab Countries at UNESCO, and moderated by Prof. Yousri El-Gamal, former Minister of Education.
