Sun 14 - Tues 16 April, 9am-4pm: "Brain Awareness Week", organized by the Biology department in collaboration with the IBRO/Dana Foundation, is a global campaign to showcase the progress in brain research and advancements in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of brain disorders. The week is an opportunity to foster public enthusiasm and support for brain science. This event provides a valuable platform for students to engage with experts from AUC, receiving support and guidance for their innovative projects. Its objective is to enhance public awareness of the brain and its functions, particularly among Egyptian students and doctors, inspiring them to specialize in neurosciences. Additionally, it offers educational resources and opportunities for learning about brain health, neurosciences, and neurological disorders, addressing the knowledge gap for students and healthcare professionals.

Tues 1 April, 8pm: "Walk and Talk" with Seif El-Rashidy and some distinguished tentmaker designers on "Bursts of Inspiration" exhibition featuring textiles made by the tentmakers of Cairo, curated by Seif El-Rashidi and Ismail Fayed. The exhibition celebrates Khayameya, Egypt's traditional tentmaking craft, which has been a vibrant part of the country's heritage for centuries.
