From 15 to 28 July: BA organises the nineteenth session of its international book fair, in cooperation with the Egyptian General Book Authority, the Egyptian Publishers Union, and the Arab Publishers Union. When organizing the exhibition, the library is keen to select the best publishing houses, It is also keen to have the latest Egyptian and Arab publications available. This year, the fair includes 75 Egyptian and Arab publishing houses, and a pavilion for children is also allocated, which includes more than ten specialized publishing houses. In children's books, a section was also devoted to Sour Al-Azbakeya, it displays old and rare books. It includes a wide range of events exceeding one hundred events, including seminars, lectures, and workshops. And conferences and their topics vary between history and literature, artificial intelligence and creative industries, Egyptian drama, writing in all its genres, media, youth, women, children, Egyptian cultural relations, and publishing.
There will be effective and strong participation of Alexandria’s innovators because of their influential presence in the Egyptian and Arab cultural scene. This is done through a series of interactive seminars under the title “Alexandrian Creativity has Many Faces.”
