Mon 14, 6-7.30pm: "Palestine Past and Present with Rashid Khalidi" webinar is organised, in commemoration of the first anniversary of the war in Gaza, by Alternative Policy Solutions (APS) and the Middle East Studies Program (MESP) at the AUC.  Renowned historian Rashid Khalidi’s most recent book, The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine came out in 2020, to much acclaim. Over the past twelve months, the war in Gaza added more urgency to a reading of this compelling account of the history of Palestine. In the words of Khalidi: “While much has changed since 7 October, the horrific events of the past six months are not unique, and do not stand outside history”. To be moderated by Rabab El-Mahdi, Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, AUC. The link: https://e.cglink.me/2kZ/r300107161
