Being Leonardo Da Vinci an Impossible Interview, a theatrical journey into the true Leonardo: the painter, the scientist, the inventor. Massimiliano Finazzer Flory gives voice and body to the genius of Vinci in an imagined interview that reveals the secrets, passions, and revolutionary thinking of the artist, performing in Renaissance Italian based on Leonardo’s original texts, including the famous Treatise on Painting. Gestures and glances, carefully studied and inspired by authentic and presumed portraits of the Master, recreate a figure immersed in a mysterious atmosphere, in contrast with the contemporary presence of the interviewers, a dialogue that emphasizes the power and relevance of his thought.
