The cultural activities have started gradually to reopenin the country.The reopening has included theatres, museums, galleries, national circus, which operate under the culture ministry. In its first stage, the resumption of activities will be open at only 25 percent audience capacity across all venues

The Cairo Opera House announced the opening of the electronic reservation on (https://ticketsmall.com/customer/events/list/) on its theatres in Cairo and Alexandria (Fountain, Open-Air, Sayed Darwish in Alexandria)

Thurs 3- Fri 11, 8.30pm: The27th Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre.

Fountain Theatre

Thurs 3, 8.30pm: Sout Masr(Sound of Egypt) Orchestra, conducted by Ahmed Atef, in a concert of a selection of famous Egyptian TV theme songs performed by Egyptian singer Hanan Mady.

Fri 4, 8.30pm: The Abdel-Halim Noweira Arab Music Ensemble in a repertoire of classical Arab songs.

Sat 5, 8.30pm: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra features Soprano Dalia Farouk performing W.A Mozart’s Serenta not turns in D major, K. 239

L. v Beethoven’s "Aquot"Ah! perfido concert aria, Op. 65 and

M. Mussorgsky/ M. Ravel: Pictures at an Exhibition.

Wed 9,8.30pm: The Two Maids performance by the Egyptian Modern Dance Theatre Company

Thurs 10, Fri 11 and Tues 29, 8.30: Pianist and composer Omar Khairat and his orchestra perform a selection of Khairat’s most famous repertoire.

 

Cairo Contemporary Dance Centre

The Cairo Contemporary Dance Centre (CCDC) has decided to offer free online classes to encourage everyone to stay active at home. Classes vary between Contemporary Dance, Barre, Floor Barre, Yoga, Breakdance, Movement and Exercise, Pilates, Ballet, and nutrition advises. You can find all the classes on the CCDC’s YouTube channel.

Fri 4, 7.30pm: A joyful concert by the feminine band Bahgaga.

Sat 5, 6pm:Dorgy band and Grama Fann in a concert of contemporary Egyptian songs.

Sun 6, 7pm: A singing concert features Nogoum Masriya (Egyptian stars) band, conducted by maestro Mustafa Mahdy.

Tues 8, 7pm:Al-Khan band performs old Arab songs.

Wed 9, 8pm: Showayet Fan(a little bit of art) band presents modern songs, written and composed by Jo.

Thurs 10, 7.30pm: Old and modern sketches performed by Clacket band.
