Audiences will embark on a journey through the poetical world of sound, music and body, guided by the choreographic impetus of director Svend E. Kristensen.

Stage Direction and performance: Isis Fahmy, composer and performance: Benoît Renaudin. Conceived as an experimental guided tour, the performance is a literal journey into the soundscape of downtown Cairo. Audiences board a bus with the artists, who are equipped with video sensors that allow them to create live mixes using the sounds of the city. The clamour of the metropolis comes into dialogue with the artists’ equipment to create a unique form of music: an immersive dive into Cairo’s singular urban symphony. The project is produced by the Swiss IF company, whose transdisciplinary work brings theatre into dialogue with philosophy, experimental music, and new technologies, in the form of sound installations (free admission, registration is required).
