Tues 8, 8.30pm: Otaak band is an ensemble dedicated to preserving folkloric music and traditions, and propelling them into the future with lyres, drums and voices. Otaak’s current lineup features the most outstanding musicians playing Egyptian, Nubian and Sudanese folkloric music today, as well as Ali Al-Abady, who participated in the golden age of Nubian pop music throughout the 1970’s.
