Tues 13, 8pm: “Music/Photography, Music and Culture between Italy and Egypt", a presentation of “Sguardi dall’Alto Egitto" and "Mosaic"
"Sguardi dall’Alto Egitto" is a project aiming at the dissemination of Southern Egypt cultural heritage: a selection of images, the result of research on the ground between 1978 and 1982 by the photographer Giovanni Canova, accompanied by traditional music of the region.
“Mosaic” presents two years of musical projects by Italian and Egyptian musicians, made entirely online, during the period of restrictions linked to the pandemic. Both projects will also be shown on the respective digital channels of the IIC and Makan.

Thurs 8, 9pm: DarQube, is an Egyptian music band who’s making a tribute for the well-known band Imagine Dragons with their own music style. Band members: Miram Hossam -Vocal, Akram Ali - Piano
Ramez Magdy - Bass Guitar, Weam Hossam - Lead Guitar, Ahmed Elgharib - Acoustic Guitar, and Mohamed Moksh - Drums. 

Fri 9, 9pm: Arab contemporary songs in a new style by singer Ahmed Ali El-Haggar.  

Sat 10, 9pm: Jordanian singer Luay Hijazeen’s concert celebrates the launch of his first album “Khalena”. Hijazeen’s songs, which are in both Jordanian and Egyptian dialects, address a variety of subjects, such as love, art and youth topics; and his music genre is the Indie Pop, a creative mixture of elements of electronic music, funk, and rock.
