Every Friday, 7pm: “Al-Aragouz wa Khayal Al-Zel” (The Shadow Puppet), a free public performance by clowns in Al-Muaaz Street, presented by Wamda and directed by Nabil Bahgat

Thurs 15, 8pm: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Mohamed Saad Basha, together with the Cairo Opera Company, A Cappella Choir, musically directed by maestro Ahmed El-Saedi, and the Cairo Opera Ballet Company present Christmas concerts, directed by Hisham El-Tally.

Sat 17, 8pm: “Romantic” concert is performed by the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by world-renowned maestro Nader Abbassi, and featuring violinist Rana Abdel-Wahab and Hassan Moataz on violincello. It will play works by Rossini, Saint-Saens and Dvorak.

Sun 18, 8pm: The Abdel-Halim Noweira Arab Music ensemble in a repertoire of classical Arab songs. 

Thurs 22 and Fri 23, 8pm: Cairo Steps band, led by oud player Bassem Darwish. 

Sat 24, 8pm: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Ahmed El-Saedi, and A Cappella Choir will give a concert featuring sopranos Iman Mustafa, Dalia Farouk, mezzo-soprano Jolie Faizy, tenor Hany El-Shafie, and baritone Reda El-Wakil. The programme will include works by the likes of Schubert, Adam, Rimsky-Korsakov, Beethoven, Bach, and Mozart. 

Tues 27, Wed 28, Thurs 29 (8pm) and Fri 30 (2pm and 8pm): The Nutcracker ballet performed by the Cairo Opera Ballet Company and the Cairo Opera Orchestra.  

Sat 31, 8pm: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra presents New Year’s concert.

Fri 23, 8pm: A night with Aly Eissa’s compositions, which feature his diverse musical influences that are deeply rooted in Egyptian classical and folk traditions and influenced by various western genres, creating versatile and twisted meditative atmospheres throughout the musical experience. Followed by Walad’s electronic music where he will be experimenting new sounds and rhythms, using the traditional sounds in new shapes and frames.

Thurs 15, 9pm: Alan Bishop's solo shows as Alvarius B. are a highly entertaining mix of singer/songwriter material wrapped inside a comedic smoking jacket, always shifting gears and never performing the same show twice, almost akin to riding in a Cairo taxi driven by a foreigner. One thing is guaranteed: You will not witness anything like it here in Egypt, so don’t miss it.

Fri 16, 9pm: Bohemian Project are tributing Clazz Brothers famous Latin Christmas album. The album contains world-famous Christmas melodies combined with vivacious Cuban rhythms and sensual jazz harmonies. Bohemian Project is bringing Christmas cheer and Latin grooves to room art space stage this year. 

Sat 17, 9pm: Tag band will be performing its originals from its own album Clouds Collide, and we’ll be also doing some famous pop/rock songs.
Fri 23, 9pm: Paranoid Eyes is an Egyptian progressive rock band with a great passion for covering the tunes of Pink Floyd and the solo projects released by the legendary David Gilmour and Roger Waters.

Mon 19, 9pm: Arabic singing carries the authentic Egyptian identity in the midst of a group of beloved fans and friends performed by Saad Eloud and his band.

Mon 26, 9pm: Dabbet Namla is an Arabic Indie Pop Rock band plays original songs that revolve around the common cultural and trending topics in the local community spiced with a variety of rhythm transitions between Western and middle Eastern rhythms including deep bass grooves and enjoyable lyrics.
