Sat 25, 8pm: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Mohamed Sharara, and A Cappella Choir, conducted by Maya Gvineria present concert II of “Arabic Perspectives Festival”.  The concert features violinist Hassan Sharara and pianist Mira Nader performing works by the likes of Ashraf Fouad, Attiya Sharara, Mohamed Adel, Aziz El-Shawan.

Wed 1 March, 7pm: In an interactive show, guitarist and oud player Ali Omar El-Farouq will take the audience on a journey through his artistic practices. El-Farouq, accompanied by percussionist Hany Bedair, performs some of his compositions from his first album “For When?”. El-Farouq’s music in this album draws from diverse musical influences such as oriental, Nubian, jazz, and Latin.

Tues 28, 8pm: A live electronic music performance by Jack Avakian on bass, keys, samplers and loopers and Ramsi Lehner on synths, sequencers and drum machines. The music will all be improvised on stage, creating completely new and original music just for you.
