Thurs 14, 8pm: A concert by Shady El-Qasseer, a self-taught Egyptian saxophonist/composer, who formed his band in 2015 collaborating with Cairo's finest musicians. The group plays a crossover of modern and modal jazz, in addition to, ethnic music by merging rich jazz harmonies and a small brass section creating unique sounds enriching jazz music.
