Egyptian kayaker Sama Ahmed will start her mission in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on Monday when she takes part in heat 2 of the Kayak Women's single 200m.

The race will start at 02:37, Cairo local time (GMT+2).

Shooter Osama El-Saied will compete in the qualifying round of the Men's 3 positions 50m rifle event early on Monday, as only 8 shooters will qualify to the final round.

The 35-year-old, El-Saied participated in the 10m air rifle Men’s event last week, but he failed to qualify for the final after finishing 42nd with a record of 618.8pts.

The event will start at 04:30, Cairo local time (GMT+2).

In diving, Mohab Ishak El-Kordi will compete in the preliminary round of the Men's 3m springboard, as the top 18 divers will qualify for the semifinals.

The event will start at 08:00, Cairo local time (GMT+2).

Regarding wrestling, Egyptian Inas Mostafa Yousef will fight against Anna Carmen Schell of Germany in the semi-final of the Women's 68kg Freestyle event.

The 32-year-old Enas Mostafa will face a tough test against the German wrestler, who finished 3rd in the 2019 World Championship in the same event.

The event will start at 04:30, Cairo local time (GMT+2).

Finally, Egyptian sync swimming duet, Laila Ali and Hanna Hiekal, will perform in the preliminary round of the Duets Free Routine event on Monday, as well, at 12:30, Cairo local time (GMT +2).
