Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and Aston Villa winger Mahmoud ‘Trezeguet’ Hassan who have arrived late Monday are expected to join the trainings on Wednesday, to complete the Pharaohs’ squad list heading to Cameroon next Friday.
The national team started their Tuesday trainings with 23 players including Ahly midfielder Amr El-Sulaya who continued rehabilitation.
The Pharaohs are set to travel to Cameroon on Friday.
Egypt play in Group D along with Nigeria, Sudan and Guinea Bissau. The seven-time african champions will start their campaign against the Nigerian Super Eagles on 11 January.
