Seven-time African champions Egypt will begin their AFCON 2021 campaign with a clash against the Nigerian Super Eagles on Tuesday.
“It is an honour and a source of happiness to start the tournament by facing a big football team like Nigeria,” Queiroz said in the pre-Nigeria game press conference on Monday.
“Our ambition is very simple; it is winning all our games,” the former coach for Portugal and Iran added.
Egypt is playing in the prestigious continental tournament in Group D alongside Nigeria, Sudan, and Guinea Bissau.
“I have good choices in my team. We have seven games to play, and we have a strategy to deploy on the pitch,” Queiroz concluded.
Egypt is aiming for its first African Cup of Nations title since 2010.
