Seven-time African champions Egypt will begin their AFCON 2021 campaign with a clash against the Nigerian Super Eagles on Tuesday.

“The PCR tests for all the team’s members came back negative,” reads a short statement by the EFA.

Egypt is playing in the prestigious continental tournament in Group D alongside Nigeria, Sudan, and Guinea Bissau.
