Hassan Bande scored the only goal of the game in the 39th minute of the game.
Issa Kabore crossed from the right flank to Bande who made no mistakes in front of an empty net.
Burkina Faso have moved to second of Group A with three points after losing their opening game against Cameroon, who are three points clear at the top.
