"We have informed intermediaries that we will release a certain number of foreigners in the next few days," Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, said in a televised address.
Abu Obeida added that Hamas fighters carried out "infiltration operations behind enemy lines", and killed a number of Israeli soldiers.
Israel has said more than 200 people were taken captives by Hamas on 7 October.
On Monday, Al-Qassam Brigades released a video in which three Israeli women held by the group in the Gaza Strip criticise Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for their response to the captives crisis.
On 23 October, Hamas released two elderly Israeli women who were among the hundreds of captives it captured from southern Israel, bringing the total number of released captives to four.
The Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip has reached its 25th day, and the situation is growing increasingly dire for the 2.3 million civilians residing in the strip.
More than 8,000 Palestinians lost their lives since the outbreak of the latest conflict, marking the deadliest of the five Gaza wars for Palestinians.
