Two men, aged 22 and 20, were killed "in an attack by Israeli occupation forces on Abu Dis", a suburb of annexed east Jerusalem separated by the Israeli wall encircling the West Bank, the Ramallah-based ministry said.
A third Palestinian, who the Israeli army said was affiliated with the Islamic State group, was shot dead by troops in a fire exchange, the Israeli army said.
The Palestinian ministry said one man was fatally hit by a "bullet in chest" and "six others were wounded, three seriously".
The Israeli army said clashes erupted following the attempted arrest of Nabil Halbiya, "an Islamic State operative who was detained in the past for terrorist activity".
"When the forces arrived to apprehend him, he fired at them and was killed during an exchange of fire," the army said of Halbiya.
Further south, a 22-year-old Palestinian was "killed by Israeli occupation bullets in Nuba, northwest of Hebron," the ministry said.
The Israeli army said that during "counterterrorism activity to apprehend wanted suspects in the town of Nuba, a violent riot was instigated".
"Suspects hurled rocks at the soldiers, who responded with live fire. Hits were identified," a statement from the military said.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old Palestinian "succumbed to his wounds after having been hit by Israeli occupation bullets several days ago in Al-Eizariya" also on the outskirts of Jerusalem, the Palestinian health ministry said.
Since the beginning of the war more than 150 Palestinians have been killed in clashes with Israeli forces and settler attacks in the West Bank, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
Israeli forces have arrested more than 1,000 Palestinians in the West Bank in that time, the army said, most of them affiliated with Hamas. Al-Ahram Online cannot verify this information from an independent source.
