In its daily report, the health ministry added that 4,324 children, 2,823 women, and 649 elderly people were among those killed, while the number of missing persons under the rubble climbed over 2,550, including more than 1,350 children.
At least 18 hospitals out of 35 have stopped working, and 71 percent of all primary care facilities throughout the strip have been closed due to damage or lack of fuel.
Additionally, doctors are under severe pressure, forced to carry out delicate surgeries and amputations without anesthesia, including cesarean sections for women giving birth.
As of today, the ministry reported, 117,000 displaced Palestinians currently residing in health facilities across Gaza with around 1.5 million Palestinians (more than 70 percent of the strip's population) internally displaced.
690,400 of the displaced are now living in 149 emergency shelters designated for UNRWA, according to the ministry.
On Wednesday, photographers captured scenes reminiscent of the 1948 Nakba, as tens of thousands of Palestinians escaped Israeli bombing in northern Gaza - on foot - as Israel continues its forced displacement of the population inside the strip.
